New Year’s Goal- Find the Old Godly Way & Walk In It

Hey Sis, can we talk honestly about something?

The New Year is Coming…

2026 cannot look like 2025.

Not for the world.

And not for us — the daughters of the King who’ve been called out and set apart.

So much around us has shifted. Every year feels more chaotic, more divided, more loud. And yet, in the middle of all this noise, I just feel the Holy Spirit whispering a simple but weighty reminder:

Return

Return to the old godly ways.

Return to living lives that honor God and honor one another.

Return to homes where peace and happiness is felt the moment the door opens.

Return to tables where prayers are spoken, real food is eaten and stories are shared.

Return to Scripture — not as a task on a checklist, but as breath for our bones.

Return to Grammie & Grandpa’s house…where life was simpler, everything tasted better, family was together …and things just made sense.

“Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.”

Maybe that’s the ache we’ve all been feeling — that tug that says,

Surely life wasn’t supposed to feel like racing, grasping, scrolling, surviving.

Maybe… the way forward isn’t forward at all.
Maybe it’s backwards —

Where We’re Going Together

As Eliora Dawn grows, I want every piece of it to serve this purpose — to build us up into keepers of the home, seekers of Christ, bringers of peace, and women who walk in the ancient paths.

This year, you’ll see new spaces unfolding:

A Library of Scripture & Study Tools-
to help you sit with the Word — slowly, deeply, consistently.

Home & Hearth Resources-
for simple living, recipes, rhythms, homemaking, and creating a home that whispers “welcome.”

Printable encouragement — letters, bookmarks, Scripture art-
to surround your heart and space with truth.

No programs. No pressure.
Just invitations — placed on your table for when you’re ready.

A Simple Charge for 2026

Let’s make a covenant — you and me — as sisters in Christ:

We will not let the world disciple us more than the Word does.

We will not allow hurry to steal holy moments.

We will choose what is better — like Mary — even when Martha demands our attention.

And when we fail?
When the days get messy, when the laundry piles, when anxiety rises?

We’ll remember:
We were never asked to be perfect — only faithful.

A Prayer for 2026

Father bring us back. Back to Your Word. Back to our homes. Back to quiet obedience. Teach us the ancient paths — where the good way is — and give our souls rest as we walk with You. Amen.

I am so excited for the new year! I know that the Father answers our honest prayers and pleas-

I’m excited to see what we lose…and what we gain…by finding the ancient paths.

Every day I’m listening for the Trumpet…just hoping to hear the Father calls us home… But until then- lets be about the life He’s called us to…
